Procedure to Update Galaxy S3 with Ultima ROM Custom ROM Firmware:
- Download Ultima Custom ROM Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Galaxy S3 to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then place the zip file in the external sd card.
- Once placed, disconnect the device from computer and open the ROM Manager app from the Apps list to select “reboot into recovery mode” so that the device can be booted in the recovery mode.
- Now In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” to choose the placed zip file of Ultima ROM from external SD Card. Once selected, confirm the same. It will take around 3 -5 minutes for applying the update. Once the update is applied successfully, the device will reboot. It may take more than 4 -5 minutes for rebooting the device.
- Once the device is booted, you will have to select the country and language options and then home screen will be shown.
Note: Just in a rare case if the device doesn’t boot up or show the home screen then remove the battery and reinsert the same to boot the device again in the normal mode. If you get any force close errors you will have to select options Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” in the recovery mode.
