Samsung Galaxy Note N8000 UK Firmware OTA Update

 

We were happy to learn that several reports have confirmed about the new update available on the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Certainly Galaxy Note tablet is geared up for the big moment and today it has been launched in India at Rs 39,990. Galaxy Note N8000 is still to be launched in many countries and it was launched in Europe last week only.

For those European users who have purchase this tablet very recently and one week back, they might see an Over the Air update available on their large screen tablet. The 5.3 inches Galaxy Note successor takes S Pen, S Memo and other Galaxy Note specific apps to a big screen display.

Galaxy Note N8000 users who are updating it for the first time, they should follow some instructions to apply this update on their tablet.

• Backup Your Data: Its always recommended to take the backup of data present on your tablet internal memory.
• Connect to Wi Fi: Since this update file is of 50 MB, we recommend users to connect to a free Wi Fi and then you should proceed with the update. Users can proceed with the update even though when they are connected with 3G as well since file size is less.
• Check Battery Life: You should ensure that you have enough battery life on your device before proceeding as you shouldn’t stop in the middle of the firmware update. We recommend you to fully charge your tablet and then proceed with the update.

Once you are ready you can apply updates by going through Menu > Settings > About Tablet > System Updates and then tap on Check Now. You will be then connected to the Samsung servers to check for the updates depending up on your region and you will get a reply message. To download you just need to tap on Download and further when downloaded, you need to tap on Install Now to apply the updates.
The software built version on your device is IMM76D.N8013UEALH2. You can check this by going through Menu > Settings > About Tablet. This update right now is available in various European countries and it will soon be launched to international users as well.
