How to Install Official CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) Android 4.0.4 ICS ROM / Firmware on AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note SGH-i717 – Tutorial

• At first, keep a backup of all your important data, apps, internet settings i.e. access point settings or APNs, contacts, call logs etc. before going to flash this official CyanogenMod 9 or CM9 firmware on your device.
• Remove / uninstall / disable / deactivate your device’s antivirus, firewall or any other security application. Ignore this step if you are not having any such app installed.
• Charge your phone’s battery up to at least 50%.
• Root and install ClockworkMod recovery on your AT&T Galaxy Note.
• Download the latest nightly version of this official CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) ROM for your AT&T Galaxy Note from here – [download link].
• Now download the Google Apps Package or GAPPS for your device.
• Turn on USB debugging on your device from here – Settings > Applications > Development.
• Connect your device with the computer using a data cable.
• Now transfer the .zip file of the official CM9 ROM and the Google Apps Package onto your device’s external SD card.

• After that, choose the .zip file of the GAPPS package and then confirm your selection to flash it up instantly.
• Now just select - ++++ Go Back ++++ and then - Reboot System Now.
